Beautiful photos! Brandy and I caught a moth like this one when we were about 10. We got a little cage to put it in. It was our pet. We loved that moth! :)
It's a luna moth. We don't see very many of them here so when we do it's kind of special. I'm hoping to get a picture a giant gypsy moth this summer. They are spectacular.

Ok, now I have to get that camera. I have photo envy! These are amazing. It seems like I can reach out and touch the hair on its wings!
